Sweets for a Sweetie

 

Audrey's girl friend Dessie had her birthday while they were staying with us and when I asked what flavor of cake she would like the answer was a resounding: Chocolate!  So I made two favorites.  The Chocolate Pudding Cake is best served chilled.  The Sour Cherry Chocolate cake I've been making for ever, it's easy, elegant and delicious.  Make it when sour cherries are in season.
