New York Mart is this brand new HUGE Asian grocery that has just opened up on Mott Street (South of Grand north of Hester) Chinatown. I just happened upon it and went it and was so overwhelmed and excited I took this video which only shows half of it! The other half of the store is mostly dry goods.
This has got to be the largest Asian/Chinese grocery store in Manhattan. Can't wait to go back and shop!
It certainly is a dramatic change from the old fashioned mom and pop stores that have traditionally lined this street.
