Rhubarb In October


Ryder Farm had Rhubarb at the market this week and I couldn't believe it so I bought some and made a crumble which got eaten so quickly I didn't have a chance to take a picture!  It was $4 a pound.  The guy said the reason they had it was because they didn't trim the stalks back like they usually do.  Even though we think of Rhubarb as a Spring thing I have seen it pretty consistently all summer long.

Yummy.
