This has been an incredibly whirlwind trip! I just got her and it's over! I leave very early tomorrow for the airport, this was my one night in Paris and all I can say is never spend just one night in Paris! Here it is 12:30 at night and I have to get up at 5:30 and I'm still awake drinking wine. I tried to download a bunch of pictures from our day trip to the Margeaux wine region and a day the the great market in Bordeaux, but my computer froze and started to make funny sounds so I thought it best once I got it working again to wait until I was home before I tried again.

In the mean time here are some pictures of our favorite place to hang out in old town Bordeaux, Karl. It had the best coffee, wonderful baked goods and a lot of healthy savory food to eat. They also state clearly on the menu that if you don't want meat please ask and they are happy to substitute cheese or veg. This is a very rare thing in France from what I can tell.

Bordeaux is an amazing place, if it hadn't been for Neil's work here I would never have thought to have visited and now can't wait to come back to explore more, in the 5 days we were here I feel like I only got a taste of what the city has to offer.
