Not that he needs my help in getting his message out, but the ubiquitous Michael Pollan has written a wonderful piece in this Sunday Times magazine discussing, in part, how we are fascinated with watching people cook yet how we, as a culture, are cooking less and less. The impetus for the article is the new movie Julie and Julia and how when he was a child he watched Julia Child with his mother. Read it, really wonderful.
