I love this little market held every Tuesday in front of the St Mark Church on the Bowery (which is now on Second Avenue, but when it was built it was a different story). I go every Tuesday late in the afternoon after my yoga class. The market consistes of 5 or 6 vendors. I try to buy something from each of them if I can.
The collard greens look so cool wrapped up like big cigars.
The green grapes are called Niagara and like Concords also have pits.
