A while back I met my friend Jane's long time friend Pru who works for PBS, I had been fairly ignorant of the wealth of wonderful programing that was available on DVD. Just before I went to San Francisco I got a copy of the American Master's series episode on Alice Waters, founder of Chez Panisse. It was great and just this morning in my Slow Foods newsletter I see they have made Michael Pollan's book Botany of Desire and filmed it.
The preview looks great certainly worth checking out.
PBS is a wonderful resource and buying a DVD from them is a great way to support them and get to watch first rate programing .
