Slow Food in Cambodia

My friend Ansell sent me this article from the Phnom Penh Post about the arrival of the slow food movement to Cambodia and how, because of 30 years of war, the soil in Cambodia is some of the best (meaning not chemically soaked) and that even the government is thinking about promoting organic farming. For years I traveled to SE Asia fairly regularly and I have always had a special place in my heart of Cambodia. It's an amazing place and has really changed so much (mostly for the good) since Neil and I first went in 2000.

It would be so nice to see something good happen in this country where so much bad has happened for far too long.
