Rambling ramble around a winter market

It was a glorious, warm, Winter's day and I was about to enter Union Square market and thought it would be encouraging to show people how even in the dead of winter New Yorkers come out and support farmers! Even though it really wasn't very dead of wintry at all, it must have been 50. It's a really meandering narrative, so I apologize in advance, I must have gotten all caught up in the excitement at seeing so many people and so many farmers at an outdoor market on February 7th.

The highlight of the market was seeing these guys being pulled about. They didn't pose quite as nicely as I wanted them to, but still how cute!
