Hey I'm in the Pines on Fire Island sitting by a fireplace helping (well giving moral support) to my friends who are opening their house here so I probably will not be doing much blogging the next couple of days.
The dinner tonight:
Seared Hudson Valley Duck breasts with a spicy Thai Red Curry sauce
Potatoes fried in rendered Duck Fat.
Salad
Homemade Chocolate Truffles
Lots of wine ;-)
It's so amazing here off season, chilly and over cast and perfectly wonderful. Just in from a long walk on the moody beach gearing up for some cooking.
