Thanks for talking about this topic. When I lived in NYC, I too was fascinated with all the creative packaging on all the Chinese products at Pearl River. You may not want or really be interested in what's inside the packaging, but it's a sure a tempation to buy it - just to display the item at home. All that wrap may not be good for the environment, but it sure sells, and that's somthing the Chinese know how to corner the market on.
