Gone Fishing.

The Brooklyn fishing derby happened last year and to the best of my knowledge isn't happening again this year. I just liked the idea of a bunch of New Yorkers fishing in the East River for cash and prizes. In my attempt to find out more information about the Fishing Derby I cam across the Brooklyn Chowder Surfer's website. It includes pages on: Fish TV, Fish Radio, Lobstah and Recipes. On a hot, hot, hot July 4th weekend like this one I think I'd rather be in exploring the fishploits of the Brooklyn Chowder surfer than sitting in the punishing sun, with a pole in the water hoping for a bite.
