Farmers Market: June 4th 2011

Tomatoes!  So many farmers are starting them early in green houses or are doing hydroponic, real local ones usually aren't ready until late June....

 

The market was packed.

 New winery from Long Island with a decidedly more upscale product.

 The first peas of the season that I have seen.

 

 I love how nothing is wasted, the sheep's wool is made into yarn and the hides into rugs...

 And the flesh into delicious cuts of meat and sausages...
