Nicole at Dora Coffee gave me a bag of Plowshares coffee the other day to try it out and to let me know about this great coffee roaster that was not only making good coffee but doing good things with their profits.

The Henry Street settlement is an wonderful organization across the street from where we live and provides many vital services to the lower east side community in addition to having a lively performance and art space.
